Inspired by IceNine's install of the dlo homedock deluxe, I want to do the same, but had thought of installing it in different spots. His spot though in the center console seems easiest to keep the unit hidden...Only thing I dont really want to do is have to take apart the unit and redo the infared sensor location for the remote...

Do you think these 2 ideas would work? IceNine you could prob let me know if the cubby idea would work...the unit says its 5.75 and that cubby is 6" up front, not sure if it slides in as I think the cubby narrows as it goes back...and dont know if the ipod/remote would sit too high over the temp controls?



This may belong in the ipod thread, but I started a new one since its more about the DLO unit...

Any ideas are appreciated! Having an Eclipse Avn5435, I dont have ipod integration, and I want to control it via the screen, not the ipod and these seems the best way with a remote!
