door speaker question

Default door speaker question

how do u take off the speaker in the door. it has three bolts around the speaker. not screws. any help would be great

you gotta drill out the rivets and use installation plates to mount the aftermarket speakers to the doors

are you serious about drilling and installation plates? that's a ton of work just to replace speakers...

the stock speakers are riveted in. they are not bolts.

yes, you need to drill them out.

i drilled them out too. then bought some big screws, washers, and nuts to mount the bracket.
