driver door is about to fall off!!! lol help!
i wanted to know if i could replace this piece on the inside of the door that basically holds the door in place, i think??? its kinda hard to explain so ill show a pic of it:

as you can see, the bottom bolt/nut broke off, i dont know when or how, and everytime i open the door that whole piece gets pushed into the door from the broken bolt and snaps as if the top bolt is getting ready to go too... is there a replacement part i can buy? what is this piece called?
thanks for any help!

that doesnt hold the door in place, that right there is what prevents the door to not go all the way out when you open it. what you need to do is go to your dealer or to a junker and find the same part and just replace the one in your car. its not that hard, just take off your door panel and take it out trough there. hope this helps
yea i figured that thats what i need to do... im just gonna go to the junk yard and get one off a tc that i've seen there instead of going to the dealer and pay probably triple of what the junk yard will charge! any chance of knowing what this part is called????

^^ yeah it looks like if you keep the nuts on the door check snug then usually it won't bend on its own. But unfortunately the problem happens when those nuts move, shut the door.. pow! there goes the door check
glad i could bring it to your attention (Everyone)
