Are all those ebay amplifiers any good? Like I see a ton of pyramid stuff like real cheap? Will they do the trick. I know they arent name brand but they seem to be rated well.

 

You get what you pay for. On ebay you will find some good stuff and alot of crap.

 

yeah, my friend who used to install audio equipment told me that if you really want great sound, quality audio equipment is what you want.

you can buy the most powerful amps, speakers and subs you want, but if it is made outta cheap crap, it will still sound terrible.

the bottemline is that quality brands are more important than bargain basement garbage with high wattage specs.

 

pryamid/legacy sound decnt at low volumes.

When you turn it up you can tell a big differance.

I d say buy a used quality amp (like mine) . Id rather buy a used good amp than a cheap amp

 

I was looking at a used rockford 1500 watt 2 channel amp is that any good? What are some other good companies to look for?

 

alpine, pioneer, jl audio, kicker, mtx, kenwood, bose. audio bahn, boston acoustic, but yeah, rockford fosgate is a good brand, i had one of their subs in my explorer, had great impact.

 

Just make sure you don't get Boss they try and trick you with their very similar name

 

i like blaupunkt... but im a little biast since its in my ride. they are very big in europe, and are starting to make it big in the US

 

dude, the only thing good to buy for your car on ebay is an intake.. i bought a cheap one that came with a k&n cone filter and it works great.. best thing to do is to just look at the sellers feedback.. if its good chances are hes good.
