Well it finally got to me. I need trunk space. Right now I got a 400w kenwood set up in a 7.0 cu/ft box thats really loud enough for me. However Im moving down to FL so Im selling it to a buddy of mine so I can have room for my golf clubs bags etc. I was looking into getting the eD stealthbox with the SQ10 powered possibly by the Nine.2. Any opinions on this set up or how it would sound? I cant imagine going bassless for a few weeks... possibly months?
I've got the stealth box and SQ10 setup and it's been great for me. I'm powering it with a RF Punch 160 amp...and all I've got to say is, if you know how to setup your gains, you'll be fine.
The only thing I would add to the setup your looking at getting is some 1/4" weather striping to raise the floor mat off the enclosure...otherwise the cone will tap the bottom of the mat. I carry a lot of R/C equipment in the hatch area and it still doesn't hit the floor mat. And I hardly ever go under my carpet, so once it's in you don't have to worry about it.
Mine hits pretty good, not car shaking, but it adds a very nice vibe to your seat. I'm not quite sure if there's really a breaking period for subs...but I'd say it definitely sounds better now than when I first installed it.

hmmm okay. I just took my subs out and i think ill survive for now. The thought was alot worse then the actual experience. Plus the car seems much more nimble with-out all that weight in the trunk. Eventually i think i'll get this thing being powered by a 350-400 watt amp since thats what it looks like it can handle well.
