eD system setup plan.....need input!!!
Hi All
I am going to be adding to the atereo I started. What I have right now is just a decent Kenwood Deck wired to the factory speakers. I am planning on replacing the factory speakers and the following setups are what I have come up with.....
Front eDi 6000s components
Rear eU-600 midrange speakers
Amp NINe.4
Package Price $353!
The next option would replace the rears with eU-650 midrange speakers. This would up the price to $379.
Final option is to use eDi 6000s components in the rear as well as the front. This woudl run me $413.
Are either upgrades really worth it if im not going to be doing subs at this time?? Is it possible to mount the eU-700s in the rear side panels to be used as midbases or subs off a seperate amp?

I'd not get the rears at all and get the 6500s components for the front.... then maybe add in 2 EU-700's in the rear panels (you'd have to build an enclosure inside the panel to keep the sub from just making alot of noise from the outside shell of your car vibrating to hell...)
That too... But you know what I mean with the rear your not gonna hear it compared to the fronts... But you also want that mid range and high range. But everyones got a different setup... Me once the cars done it shall be a nice thing... lol my car just sits now
dont try to go the cheap way out, seriously. Youll hurt yourself in the long run.
Go all eD, get 6500's components (6500's) and 650 midranged for the back. Do not buy any extra tweets, you only need two in the front. Also, buy a Nine.4 and power them at 65 watts each, youll get incredible reponse and a nice balanced system.
If you want stuff to sound good, your better off making your system a 3 way with maybe two eu700's in our trunk for bass. Or even get a Nine 2x and wire everything together.
Learn from me, Im trying to sell my 4 tweeters, audiobahn amp, and 4 eu 6000's to start over and do things the right way =(
