Electrical problem
I have been doing alot of electiral stuff lately. New Leds in gauge cluster and HVAC, new gauges, Headunit, Eman. Anyways.. When i turn my headlight switch on, the Hvac doesnt lite up anymore.. any ideas?
lol i took out my guage cluster to wire a boost guage to the headlight switch..and when i put it back in and turned it one, it was all black, but my boost guage worked.. took me a few minutes then i laughed about it haha
Arghh! I've got the same problem, too. The funny thing is, the light for the hazard switch still turns on, but none of the other lights on the ac control board turn on. The lights for the dash (tach, speedometer, etc) work fine.
This happened after I unplugged the ac control board to access my stereo. I had done this a few times before, and had no problems, but now for some reason it started doing this. I wonder if it has something to do with the 'auto-on' feature of the headlights. You know how you can leave the switch on, then open your door and the lights turn off, then when you start the car, they turn back on? Maybe this confused the microcontroller on the ac board after unplugging it.
Steve, was it a bad fuse?
