Default Elemental Design CS

I was looking into the Elemenatl Design components for the front. How are the 6000s? I am going to be powering them with the Stock HU. I am tired of having multi amp cars. In the past I had Infinity Kappa and Kappa perfects and I found them to Tingy and bright. I just want some componets in the front that sound better then the stock ones. Any thoughts?

They are listed at 100 watts RMS and the stock unit does not put out close to that so Id say they will sound like crap unless you get and amp for them. You could get an amp for them for like $100 so why not do that?

they won't sound like crap.... they'll sound good (better than stock).... but nowhere NEAR their potential without an amp...

Why not get a multi-channel amp instead of haveing multiple amps... like a Directed Audio amp?? 75x4 + 275x1 @ 4ohm, 125x4 + 400x1 @ 2ohm, or you can run whatever on the four channels(2ohm or 4 ohm) and 600x1@1ohm on the sub channel

First off,

I thought this was about Live Support and you being dropped yesterday, sorry about that. Horribly busy around here since we've been actually moving facilities the last couple days and I didn't manage to get back before you'd left.

When I was installing my 6500s in the tC, at first I did them off the stock HU...better than stock, but not anything remotely great.

Then I hooked up my Eclipse 8443. Better than the stock HU, but still not that awesome.

Hooked up the amp, then and only then will the components truly come to life and do all that they can.

Yes, it will sound better, no, it won't sound as good as it can. Plus, amp + speaker = 15% off

Hey I understand. I recieved a error message so I thought that was the cause. I think a multi amp would be a good answer. But how is dedicated Audio? Never heard of them.
