Default factory AUX input

does anyone else experience a low signal when they try to connect their iPod to the factory pioneer system through the aux-in located in the armrest compartment? when i listen to my iPod i have to turn the iPod volume to about 4/5ths of the way up and the pioneer deck to the mid 40ish range (out of 63ish). do i have a bad aux connector wire or what, because it doesnt seem like this setup would need THAT much amplification from both sources

same thing happens when I hook the laptop up into the aux input. Even with the computers volume to the max, the radio still has to be in the 50's for me to hear anything.

same thing happens here... I'm pretty sure its normal.

Same thing happens if I hook up my Creative zen micro to my big hifi/component stereo... I have to turn up the volume of my micro to almost max and turn up the volume on the receiver as well.

I was hoping the tC wouldn't be like that, but it is. Oh well. At least it works

Same thing happens to me with my SLVR L7 phone. I intalled with the AUX adapter and I have to turn the volume to 40 and 50 so I can listen to it the way I like it. Sound quality is pretty good, better than I expected.
