Default Factory sub vs Bazooka sub which is better?

As I asked in the title, which is better the factory 6.5" sub or the bazooka subwoofer? I am looking for just a little more bass than the stock sub puts out, and it seems like the Bazooka would possibly do this. If anyone has any insight on this I would be glad to read what you have to say.

heard them both and the bazooka was a lot better.....the stock one just does not give any ommf to music, only sounds like it does the bazooka actually gave it more depth.

I mean I am not expecting anything special out of the bazooka, just a lil bit of bass and some clarity. The stock speakers seem to do fine, The sub just has nothing there at all. It seems that scion should have atleast put a 8" sub in the enclosure over the 6.5.

What size bazooka are you looking to do.....the one the dealerships offered I think was a 8 or 10 and it worked pretty good, but I have also heard a 10 bazooka and it was really sweet sounding......and cheap too...crutchfield has a couple of them to choose from.

^ Sounds like you'd be pleased with the 10" 100w Bazooka that's optional for the tC. Yes, it'd be MUCH better than the stock 6.5" 30w sub you have now.

i have the optional 10" sub and it actually sounds pretty good for something that came from the dealership, it definitely will sound better than the 6.5" sub and give you the a lil more bass

Yeah I don't need anything outside of the car, in my car I used to have 2 12" alpine type r's in a 3 cube ported box run off of a Viper D1200.1, I ended up cracking my spoiler from it. I just want some nice fill in which is all I really need.

ive heard the 2 side by side and the bazooka isn't really all that much better then the stock 6.5" sub

i wouldn't waste your money on it if you already have the stock sub. there are much better options out there for your money.
