Default Feelin the Boom

I just put 2 CVR 15's in my tc. I lost all trunk space but who cares. I'm running a Clarion 7" in dash dvd with Ipod hookup, Dvd, Mp3, and Sirius Sat radio. The subs are powered by an oldschool punch 800a2. I'm using a Boss crossover with gain controll for the bass. All of that comes off of my 1 farad capacitor. Its nice tight bass that takes your breath away. The great thing is no headlight blinking or rpm drop. Bad thing is the box weighs a ton and it dropped the ___ end of the car down a couple of inches. I saw a def change in horsepower...lol I will post pics as soon as possible my cam is on the fritz.

Ports look a bit skinny on there...do you get any whistling/chuffing?

Other than that...very nice...who needs a hatch

Looks nice, but whats up with the box? You talk about tight bass, yet ya put those Comps in ported box!! Go sealed enclosure and the bass will be even tighter!

Flip outs are simple install if you remove the door. I have a flip out, and the door still works!(creative instalation and 5 hours)

Even simpler if you just cut the door.

As for the question about the ports....The ports in this box are built to exact specs from Kicker. As to the question about why I didn't go sealed....I have had the same model of speakers in sealed and ported and I don't know I just like the ported better. Trust me when I say this thing will kill you when cranked.

That's pimp looking right there. How did you get the cut in the door so straight? It's perfect.

I didn't put the box in the floor for 2 reasoons...one there wouldn't have been enough room and 2 i still want to have a spare tire. I am a fireman and somtimes we go places and I pick up a nail or something. Didn't want to loose the spare.
I had to take the door off to get the screen in but It still looks really good. there is a space above the head unit that looks a little off but almost like it was meant to be there. I am planning on putting some neon in there to fix that problem

Roughed out the shape with a Dremel (carbide cutters), then finished out the opening with a mill file. Took awhile, but guaranteed that the line would come out straight. I didn't want to use a mount kit, because they all put the HU in the top position, and I don't like how high the screen sits when the unit is mounted up there.
