FR-S Seats in tC?
Forgive me if I am posting in the wrong Sub-Forum, but I recently was at an FR-S meet and fell in love with the OEM seats. I was wondering if anyone has put FR-S seats into a tC and what were the steps done to make it happen.
I know the seat removal is just 4 bolts and then there is the harness for the sensor, I believe. If anyone has any info on this, that'd be amazing. I'd really like to do this swap.

Chances are they'll bolt in, or need light modifications. Good news is, side impact airbags will be useable if you have the factory option.
Only downside I see is comfort. If you plan to make long trips, probably not the seat to go with. They do hold you in great, but having a semi-bad back, I can see those seats raising all types of hell. Probably the only reason I wouldn't get an FRS.

Do you think I can use the brackets from the tC seats?
That's where I'm confused. Do seats fit all brackets and you just need to find a bracket for the car? Or do I need to find the correct bracket for the seat as well?

No, no, not usually for stock seats, if its possible try it
Yeah, just gotta try it first. I couldn't tell you, because I've never tried, nor do I currently have the desire to do so. The entire rail assembly may bolt in, it may not. You may be able to unbolt the seats from the rails, and use TC rails and FRS seats. But the only way to find out is either to A: Have access to all the interior blue prints and designs for production (I may be able to get those from a engineer friend who works at Toyota here in Erlanger), ORRRRR B: Try and find out.
