Default GAH! OBX Shift **** is wiggling...

The top part and the middle circular ring are pretty loose and they just wiggle around... how do I fix this? Is there a way to take the **** apart?

I tried taking off the hex screws on top, but that just takes off the metal cap, nothing else i think...

....

... the obx **** hex screws are FAKE... it's just a plastic cap...

you can remove your ****... easily remove that plastic cap by shoving a screwdriver or something into the **** and pushing it out..

and then you'll see two screws you can tighten down.

that's it.

This happened to mine too, hex screws are indeed fake. Take the *** off, take a screw driver and push the cap out. Its just press fit with a rubber o-ring. I didn't try tightening the two phillips screws in there tho. I just threw the stock *** back on... >.>

it's those 2 screws you need to tighten if the **** is wiggling loose like the op says.

its the gasket i had to buy a bigger gasket so that the center piece would stay tight. the one that comes with the **** will snap, i learned this after 3 gaskets, have had the bigger gasket in for about 7 months no changing necessary, but i keep a lil bag of gaskets in my glove box juss incase one snaps

oh anf the allan nuts and allan wrench is included because: when u have tightined the shift **** to its most possible tightness level, and the obx is not lined up straight uyou use the allan wrench to turn the center so where you want it to be.

Oh I think you are talking about the o-ring around the center cap. Ok I get it now.
