there are so many choices when it comes to car audio and without knowing exactly what you want it's quite hard to recommend stuff.

OP, if you buy yourself a 2 or 4 gig flash drive, you won't have any trouble with USB input and it's actually VERY easy to handle and use. I use my USB input 95% of the time

You can do it for $500, but $650 would be a generous amount easier to work with.

Actually they sound pretty damn good, and i'm not the only one who thinks so. As to how they are made, i dont know the process they go through but they've stood up to ALOT of drive time and ALOT of punishment. Plus im more into the performance of the car, not tryin to win any ICE competitions here, but my setup blows away most everyone i know with the exception of my buddy whos got a full Memphis system with M3s. If i was tryin to go insane with it i would go with JLs or Mojos.

what else have you had to compare it too. my brother has some type-r's and honestly they are a lot sloppier than my 15's. I was NOT impressed with them and i honestly think they sound HORRIBLE.

So far the Mtx TS55s, TR55s (i think), and Boston G5s besides the aformentioned Memphis'. So my comparison pallet isn't HUGE by any means but mine sounded better and were louder. The thing i like about them is they aren't just Bass, they are clear and clean, not to the same level as JL, but for the price definately not bad.
