Headunit Doesn't Turn On

Headunit Doesn't Turn On
I've installed a Pioneer FH-8000BT which has been working great for about 8 months. Today I went to install some cathodes, made a few power connections, and tried a test turn on, but the cathodes did not power up, and neither did the radio head-unit.
I tried tapping the +12v yellow line between the factory radio harness and the Pioneer adapter, and grounding to the dome light wire by the switch panel. I then removed the cathodes and power connections and reverted back to my working set-up before and it still does not power up.
At one point of the cathode installation while tapping the yellow wire for power, the wire accidentally nicked the underside of the headunit housing and caused a small spark. (I had forgotten to disconnect the battery).
So my question is, is there something I should check or fix to help this, or did I accidentally fry my headunit by tampering with this power connection? I sure hope that's not it...

Quick update: stock head unit doesn't power up either. Checked the +12v lines on the OEM harness and there is 12v on the accessory line, but not on the constant on. I checked the 7.5A fuses under the switch panel but didn't see any bad ones. Which one is inline with this constant 12v line?

Yeah mine did the same thing and it turned out to be a 25 cent fuse under the dash. If you crawl under the drivers side and its around the general area of the OBDII port. You'll see it, it had a fuse guide, I opened it up and just pulled one out at a time and then went on until I found one blown. Hope this helps.
