Help! amp won't start til later on!!!
ok heres the problem. Everyday i start up my car, my amp don't turn on, but if i drive my car for like 15 mins, and turn off my car, let it stay off for 10 mins. i start back up my car. My amp turns on, and it works again. i don't know why i have to do this everytime. can anyone tell me what the problem is? everyday i have to do this.
i think because when its cold, my amp stays off. but when its warm it turns on. how weird is that.

check your remote wire. usually amps have the tendency to turn off when they overheat.. but in your case maybe it has the tendency not to turn on until it gets to a certain temp lol
check your wires, make sure there are no breaks in them. that would be my first guess. after that I'd say the amp is going bad.
I dont think it can be a "warm up" issue. I lived in PA for 27 years with systems playin all winter every winter. Even on the coldest days my amp would kick on. How new is the amp? Do you have another one you could borrow for a sec to test with? Id hook up a buddies amp to my wiring and see if everything works. Better yet, test your wires with a multi-meter. What ever you do, you want to cut down the possibilities.
