Help Choosing Sub Enclosure
Okay folks, I really need some help on the last piece to my audio puzzle (for now). I currently have a single 13Kv.2 sitting on my kitchen floor and am in need of a sub enclosure. I'm looking for something that will get me 1 cubic foot of air space while not taking up too much of my trunk. Here are the options I am currently debating:
A. A side mount enclosure that will require me to cut the trunk mat (no big deal) and will extend upward from the bottom of my trunk while allowing me to keep my spare.

B. A flat mount enclosure similar to the stealth box for the SQ10 that will require me to cut the trunk mat and will extend upward from the bottom of my trunk allowing me to keep my spare.

C. Eliminate all cutting of the trunk mat and achieve a completely stealth look by removing the spare and building a box that would fit in the newly acquired space.
D. Something really cool I have never even heard of (meaning please provide another idea for me to consider)
Now, originally I was going to place the amp for my front components behind the rear mid panel and the amp powering my subs in the trunk either under the trunk mat in a separate amp rack, on top of the spare, or behind the other rear mid panel. I like the idea of option A or B because I could create a stealth amp rack and give myself easy access to both amps without having to deal with removing the rear mid panel should I need to fix/change anything. I continue to debate myself over option C, because I do quite a bit of driving and I know as soon as I remove my spare I'll need it. But alas, I come to my fellow ScionLifers and put my sub's resting place in your hands. If you choose option D, please post your alternative solution. Thanks in advance!

I love my flat mount...although since I had to make it up to spec for JL to give me a warranty it takes up like the whole side of that trunk haha...but it works
...
Eventually am going to go back and redo it so it looks nicer

I'm not a big fan of having the amp just hang out like that. Some super space age amp with lots of whizbang lights and a sleek looking design might look cool.
Otherwise, I pick A with the amp hidden in the compartment underneath next to the spare.

And for the sub placement, i recomend bassforms, they make really good side enclosures that take up very little space, but they hold 10" subs only.
