Default help, it fell and i can't get it out!

well, i was changing another one of my light bulbs in my dome light -_- stupid bulb wouldn't disconnect from the thingy, so i guess i tried too hard puling it off. it ended up slipping off my hands and guess where it fell? inside the hand break -__- *sigh* anyone have an idea how to get "lost stuff that fell inside the handbreak?"

btw, it would be nice if they put a boot on the ebrake too, that way we don't have to worry about messes like this *sigh*

You have to take the shifter cover off, 2 bolts under the radio and 2 bolts in the arm rest under the little rubber pad at the bottom of the arm rest. Then you can lift it up. Look up some shifter install guides and you'll see what I'm talking about.

When I dropped my shift **** adapter in there, I had to open my driver's door, lay pretty flat with my head in the car, and pull out the carpet that is tucked under the driver's side of the shift-console deal. It comes out really easily- I was able to spot it with a flashlight and manuever it out with a screwdriver.

dude... you're not having much luck doing a simple task of changing out light bulbs.... it's a simple... DO NOT TWIST...

it's such a common mistake that... ahh.. hell.. it won't stop people from still doing it even if there was a sticky.

you should've just let me change them out when i retrieved your other holder that you lost inside that morning..

Tell me about it. I managed to blow my parking light install- the bulb managed to pop out of the harness after I'd screwed it into my headlight and fall into the headlight unit. I had to put gum on the end of a screwdriver to just barely be able to sneak it out, and it fell into the gromet thing and is now residing in the abyss of my headlight. Total waste of $6.
