Could someone please help me identify this color! I would love to paint some of the interior of my car this color so if someone knows where to purchase cans of it I would be very happy! It is some sort of metalic violet color!

either anodized purple... or you could prolly come pretty close to it with some powdercoat "burple" cross between blue and purple...

 

Looks like the color for many aftermarket R/C car parts, which is just anodized aluminum. Those look like ball end joints and a transmission case.

 

some places have color match booths so you can get the exact color you want. just take in something in that color and im sure any place that sells paint can match it for you

 

looks like the same color purple that tanabe uses on their coilovers... either that or its the HKS coilovers...

 

It is the same color as the coilovers from HKS!

The pics I used are from an R/C car. But I want that aluminum look still. Is it possable to do on plastic parts? I want my dash pieces to look like that.

 

There is a place close to me that I send custom work to get anodized (I've sent some of my motorcycle parts, and some of my customers parts) and they have a lot of different colors to anodize with. They can match a lot of colors

 

yeah... but to anodize you the piece needs to be metal.... plastic parts would just melt ...

 

That I don't know about, I can ask my painter about that.

well I think my best bet is just to take a copy of the picture into a paint store to see if they can mix a color to match it. Then just add some metalic flake to it or something like that to give it a metal look!
