Default help with line out converter for 2 amps

hey guys i have had a kenwood ddx7017 in my car for a while now, so no need to add inputs for amp ....long story short im gettin my car closer to stock to sell in the future, till then im gonna need a line out converter for my system, i understand the concept and where to get it, my question is do i need a special one if im running a 2 channel for my front components and a 2 channel for my sub ?

do i need two converters, or could i just tap one into the rear right speaker and one into the rear left speaker ? .. also can i adjust which one will have the high gain and which one the low ....links and recommendations would be great thanks guys

Just buy one LOC, run the RCA's from the LOC to the amp for the components, and then run RCA's from that amp to the subwoofer amp. Both amps should have RCA outputs on them.

Correct. The sub amp should have a low pass filter built into it.

If your amps don't have pass-through RCA outputs, you can still use a single LOC along with RCA splitters to get the signal to both amps;
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=240-129

You could also use a 4-channel LOC, which would enable you to balance the system between the components & sub by using the HU's fader control;
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_142SLC4...4.html?tp=2001
You'd install that behind the head unit, tapping into all 4 of the HU's speaker outputs, then run two sets (or a single 4-ch) of RCA cables to the amps.
