Hey I installed HID kit a few weeks later the right side went out I check everything and it look fine but when I grab the HID voltage box and when it touch metal it sparks....any idea? is voltage box damage thats why it dont work?

 

voltage box? are you mean "ballast"? ballast can damage if water get into it. try to take the ballast apart and blow dry it. see if that work.

try to check if the ballast or the light bulb doesn't work.

put the left side ballast to the right side see if it work. if it still doesn't work then check the fuse box. you might have to replace the fuse

 

if you bought a cheap kit from ebay, then its just a poorly made ballast.

 

i brought it from ebay and it works fine as long as there no water get into the ballast.

 

Yah I got from ebay and the left side work but the right side balast box keep sparking when contact with metal....

+1 for DDM Tuning. Sooner or later, I think EVERYONE will be going here to get them.

 

Might be because it's wet or that it needs a relay.

 

ground is shorted to high voltage output. Touching it, your getting about 1500v (low amperage so its relatively not harmfull). I would wrap the entire thing in electrical tape to avoid sparking... but its going to die sooner or later.
