Does anyone know anything about the homelink system in the 06' tCs? I'm talking about the built in garage door opener in the rear view mirror. It has a cord that plugs into the back of it and I'm not sure where it goes. Anyone know what the plug plugs into on the other side? And would it be possible to take it out and place it in an older tC (05')?

The plug has 3 wires coming out of it which are connected to 12v, ground, and switched 12v. It would work in an 05 tC as well.

Check out the installation guide, it should answer most of your questions:
