Change the light bulb right next to gear shifter on my automatic tC???????? The light bulb went out and I have no idea how to change it. I tried removing the cover but I wasn't sure I was doing it right and I didn't want to break the cover off. Any help would be great!!!!

 

you need to take apart your center console. Pull up hard on the cup holder part. It should snap right out. Then remove the shifter plate part. Pull it out and turn it upside down and be careful not to wreck the cig lighter wires. Then just pop out the bulb and put the new one in. Then snap it all back together. Its easy.
