Default How does this set up sound?

Alright, so two weeks from now, I'm getting a system swapped from my Xterra to my tC. Soo here it goes

Panasonic HU (HPF/LPF, gold plated pre-amps, all that good stuff)

Polk MOMO Carbon Series C300.2 amp (220 x 2 RMS)

2 Kicker Comp 12's

Standard dual 12 enclosure, custom box to be built at a later date.

I've had this set up in a dual 12 q-logic type 2 box in the xterra, but the box doesn't fit the hatch of the tC. I'm not gonna lie, it sounded loud in the xterra (good enough to set off car alarms as i drove down the street). I was just wondering what yall thought of this set up, compared to the factory stereo. And if any of you out there are pushin' two 12's, what do you think?

Thanks,
Chris

I had 2 JL12w3's in a JL H.O. box and it slammed rather hard... but I literally had NO trunk space... that part kinda sucked...

it won't take a lot to get loud in the tc. i have one 10 inch sub in a ported box and it's plenty. and this is going from 2 12" inch subs that i had in my truck. so 2 12's will be loud.

personally I have never liked the way the Panasonic HU's sound. If you've already listened to them and like them, then enjoy. Otherwise go listen and you'll see.

I personally would go with an Alpine unit. The rest of the setup. I'd go with a JL10w6v2 as Yanki01 has. I've had Kicker before and JL always had a deeper bass, more satisfying. Hope that helps

This is equipment that i've had for 2 years though, the kickers being the replacements for my infinity kappa 12's that blew (but circuit city didn't carry infinity anymore to honor my plan, so i got credit). I've always liked the way the panasonic HU sounded. The system pounded ***** in the xterra, so I can't imagine how loud it would be in the tC with there being much less interior space, I may have to go with some deadening.

ohhhh okay, well hey as long as you like the HU's sound, that's all that really matters. Yeah if in the Xterra it was loud, you're going to have blood dripping from your ears in the tC! oh that was wrong, not a good mental picture there! lol
