Default How to remove automatic shifter cover?

When I popped out my center console and stuff to install a new head unit, the ribbon type thing that's inside the automatic shifter got pushed out of alignment somehow... how do I off the shifter cover so I can fix it?

Its that little gap right there.. it makes it a bit harder to shift and i part of it is getting bent because shifter is pushing down on it

you see those two plastic wings on opposite sides, pull them up, actually, just pull it up, and be careful. Put the parking brake on, put it into neutral, and unscrew the ****, and it will make it a whole bunch easier

yep it jsut pulls right off and then you can reallign the slider......very easy......the great thing about our cars is you really cannot break them......they are like giant Legos....they just snap together and pull apart.
