How to take off the dash?
Guys,
I am trying to install an aux cable to my stereo which need me to take the dash off.
I am having a hard time taking the silver trim off , i was able to make it loose but it wont come off.
Could some body throw me some advise on how to take this off ? ?
I saw some thread about doing this but cant find one that really explain it detailly... maybe somebody can point it out to me...
desperately need help and direction

You should be able to just pull them out, If you are talking about the trim that surrounds your radio then you kinda have to loosen it up then pull up and out on it, the ac vents kinda get stuck sometimes and can take a little wiggle to come out. I cant remember off the top of my head if you need to take off or loosen the trim any around the shifter you can just pull up on that with a little force. Use some judgment on it your not going to break any clips by just pulling up some just dont use so much force that your gonna break or crack the actual trim. Hope this helps some maybe someone else can clarify it a little bit better for you.
which direction should I pull ??? TO the side or to the top ?

to get the waterfall off
put ebake on.....car in neutral......grab gthe silver pieces that are on the console and pull up and back at the saem time.I like to do the passenger side first up a little then the driver side till I get it loose and then pull it up and back,if you have an automatic, the trom piece tends to catch up and that is annoying........
then once you hvae that piece off you can disconnect the lighter plug and shift **** if you have to and take it off.
then phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws at base of waterfall, then lift it out and up just a little as the harness is connected, once it is loose take the top part away from dash a little and remove the harness and you have access to the stereo area.
take your time and once it is out a few times it comes out a lot easier, also make sure the door is closed to the radio so it does not get stuck on the deck during removal.
