Hello! i used to post here along time ago but my labtop crapped itself and i just havent been online. but anyways! my hvac lighting isnt working. it wasnt all of a sudden but, it would come on sometimes other times it wouldnt. and lately its just not working all together. now the hvac works great. its just the lighting. i checked connections and all the fuses and took apart the unit itself and didnt see anything burnt up or missing or anything. any ideas?

 

do u have a LED swap? What year tC?

 

There was an issue with the 07's, but like Alan asked, we need to know more about what it is doing and what year it is.

take it in for warranty, ASAP

Its a known issue that Toyota wont man up to.

 

A lot have had luck getting it warrantied though.

I warn all of my 07 led swap customers about this ahead of time. I think they fixed it during the model year, but a lot of them apparently had it.

 

same ____ happened to me. i actually like it like this because i know exactly where all the buttons are and ppl can't find the buttons so they don't touch my ____.

 

you should go get a new one.

 

Same thing happend to me like a year ago when I got my led swap, it was really annoying not being able to see where the buttons were n what time it was. But good thing my friend introduced me to a friend of his who worked at toyota/scion and he gave me a new one. The total of it would of came up to $500+ but it was free..

But seriously though I did had a led swap on my HVAC it should of still been warranteed because it is a early 07 model.

But yeah get it warranteed before you get like a led swap, to make sure it doesn't mess up.
