this always seemed to be working fine, showing i guess an estimate of the outside temp.


but for some reason now it just shows

anyone have any idea?

 

Did you do some work on your car (involve removing any part of the front end or replacing something)? It could be that the outside thermostat is unplugged.

 

i haven't done any work on the car between when it worked and stopped working.

one day it just started showing up as --

do you know where the outside thermostat is located? and where it plugs into?

so i can check if there's any loose connections.

If you pop your hood, it's mounted to the ac line in front of the radiator. Kinda on the passanger side of the car. You'll see it there.Hope this helps.

 

too hot? if its too hot it will do that. or at least mine did

just checked, nothing seems loose.

i unplug and replug it back in to make sure.

i don't think it's too hot, cause it's only like 70ish degrees F atm.

 

an "estimate"? isnt this thing supposed to be exact lol
