I ended up buying all the LEDs and a soldering iron kit already. I searched link by link til I could gather all the information. Dead links and old threads, any help would be appreciated. I ended up changing the center cluster lights to LED on my 06 xB tonight and it looks awesome. Only thing left now is the instrument cluster. Im glad I don't have to buy the voltage regulator because that was a pain to find. Thanks again for the info!

To be honest, I've had my LEDs swapped to blue in my 08 tC since 2010.. Never changed the voltage regulator and never used resistors.. Works perfectly the same and it's been well over 8 years that I've had them.. Just a note haha
