they could of saved you and themselfs alot of greef.. and you can save yourself alot of greef...
1.. if they drilled thru the firewall.. they should of used a grommet in the hole to take care of any sharp edges.. but seeing as they did not do that and now you have a hole... why not look for a rubber plug at an autopart you can use to plug the hole.. or even at a rec yard,,,, you can see them on some cars where the firewall has predrilled holes from the factory but they plug them up...
think about how much 1.time your going to spend .. 2. time without your car... 3. money even though your going to pass them the bill... why go thru the aggrivation.. and what are you going to do if they say no they are not going to pay for it.. .. be more aggrivated.. !!!
it's not my car, my money nor my time.. so it is up to you.. but since it does not present a real problem to the car... id just plug it..
