I dont think you can simply tap in and get the signal you need. I am pretty sure that you need to use it as a wideband setup and tap into the exhaust gases. The senders that are on our car are not wideband senders and wont work.

I understand the afr wont be accurate, but atleast if i could get an idea on it. because soon im gonna be turboed, I will have an emanage too to help with afr so idk if i have to worry too much about it.Could you explain how to tap it into the exhaust gases thing you were telling me about?

I know there are a bunch of others who pretty much have done what you are going to do. Do a search and ask the people who have turbo'd their tC's. I think you'll get the answers that you'll need from them.

unless the AFR gauge you purchased is a wideband type, it will be pretty much useless for tuning that turbo setup. It will however put on a cool light show.

lol i kno that but still I would like it to be connected. Atleast if i can get it lighted up that would be great. So can i connect the red to the cigarette and the black to a grounding point and nothing bad will happen?

Ok i got the air fuel ratio to work. basically all you have to do is tap the black wire on the o2 sensor on the s-pipe to the wire on the gauge and thats it. I used one of those vampire things

Now i cant figure out where sender goes for the oil pressure. after i figure out that piece, everything should be smooth sailing. I like how the gauges look too. they r so hott

pictures of my gauges. wait till i recieve the vinyl, it should look alot better and professional i hope

That setup for the AF gauge wont be correct. It might show numbers but they wont be accurate.

the easiest way is to get an oil adapter. It fits between the oil filter and the block and has multiple ports on it for connecting gauges. I have one I got from someone on Scionlife. You can also install a T off of the feed on the side of the cylinder head (driver's side). Then install the stock sensor and the gauge sensor. Only thing is this is where your oil feed for a turbo or supercharger will install, so it may be too much. Those electric sending units for oil pressure are heavy when hung on there. I have seen them actually snap off the T fitting causing oil to spew everywhere. The block adapter is the best way.

Here is the post for an example of an electric sensor breaking the T fitting:

Read about half-way down the page.

Well I know Greddy makes universal ones. I don't know where the one I have was purchased from as I bought it from a guy on here. I will check the brand name when I get home. I forget what it is.

That will relocate the oil filter too. What you want is THIS. It will go in between the oil filter and the block.

not sure where he put the stock sensor. On domestics you can remove it and not get a CEL, just get the dummy light all the time, so we used to remove the bulb from the dash. No more dummy light, and the gauge was functional. Also remember you are planning on going turbo, so you will have to run your oil feed off of there. You could put it there temporarily until you get the turbo of course.
