MODS: Might be something to add to the sticky pile.

IF you've disconnected power to your car and your windows are not working like you expect, they're not broken, just need to be reset for the one-touch feature.

You have to press the window switch and let the window go all the way down and all the way up. Repeat for passenger side and sunroof. And your good to go.

That was the point of making this thread. So people who dont use the search function dont keep making "my windows screwed up" threads. Kinda hard to pass by stickies.

 

It's a good effort and something that does come up a lot... but not really sticky worthy. Mostly b/c the information is in enough places with very easy access (Manual?) that most people will be directed there or to search and the thread will be locked.

There are probably 100 topics of this nature that really could be stickies if we wanted to clutter everything up, but it's just too much to pick a couple out of the mass and make just those sticky. That's why we have things like the FAQ (that buddha linked) stickied.

 

And we need a big RTFM link :D I am amazed at how many people spend a big chunk on a car and dont read the instructions that come with it!

 

i believer there is a sticky on that link... really theres should be a sticky on just reading your manual... other than the cliff notes provided.

 

yeah~I found the power window issue on the Owerners Manual

 

actually my driver doesnt work any tips i tried everything on the forums my passenger i reset fine but for my driver up you pull it up the non auto notch it doesnt go up at all i have to completely pull it up to make it go up. anytips to make my auto driver work?

 

Here's another good tip: If you want to go forward in an auto trans, put the shift lever in either the D,3,2,or L.

You MUST hold the brake to take it out of park.

 

I've done all this and still nothing I held down the buttons and nothing is a happening this is from having my engine replaced and My Driver Window is down and passenger is up but the sunroof is the only thing that works both windows don't work at all? Any tips I done the reset option and nothing.
