has anyone installed the new illuminated door sills. i'm very close to placing an order with sparks. but i wonder what the installation will be like. i know you gotta do more than just snap it on.

Im sure it does, but the wiring may be different... For some reason its only for 08+

i just did it to my 07.......its not that hard. just make sure you follow the wire diagram and be ready to remove a few pieces of your interior. it'll take about an hour or so........thats about how long it took me.

 

the aluminum is black right? i assume you got yours off of TRD sparks.

 

ya i got mine from trd sparks, but they weren't black aluminum. there just brushed silver. the pic on the site is kinda decieving. if you look really hard you can see it. but theres always the option of paint.

 

no i think silver looks better. the black was actually making me shy away. i think the silver makes it "POP!"

 

are the lights only in blue?

 

i believe they're only available in blue, but im sure you can change em' with little difficulty....
