Default I'm building fitted woofer boxes.

Just finished up measuring and designing a sealed box for the tC.

Here's the sketchup, angles form to the seat back and hatch angle. It's shown there with two 12" cutouts. Largest it can go is two 15s or one 18, six 8s will also fit, and three 12s is questionable. Airspace is roughly 9 ft^3 gross. Pure 3/4" MDF construction. PM for pricing. I can leave it bare MDF, carpet it, or paint it. Subs can be flush mounted or on the surface, and can do bracing if deemed necessary.

you're not authorized to sell stuff here so don't. plus i wouldn't trust a 17 year old to make my sub boxes anyway

on top of that ~9cuft....not really. Even if it is true, 8cuft is way to much for 2 12s, 2 15s, etc.... you feel me?

The only sub that I can think will need that big of an airspace is the the bigger soundsplinter subs:
Acceptable:
3.0 cu ft - infinity net volume sealed
5.0 - 9.5 cu ft net volume vented, Fb = 15 - 22 Hz
Optimal Home:
10 cu ft net volume sealed
9.5 cu ft net volume vented, Fb = 15 Hz
Infinite Baffle
Acceptable:
4.0 cu ft - infinity net volume sealed
4.25 - 20.0 cu ft net volume vented, Fb = 14 - 31 Hz
Optimal Home:
7.0 cu ft net volume sealed
12.8 cu ft net volume vented, Fb = 18 Hz
18 cu ft net volume vented, Fb = 14 Hz
Infinite Baffle

there's no partition between the chambers, it would be insanely heavy, and if you're planning to put in 12" subs, the cutout is usually not 12"... failed.

It's also WAAAYYYY too tall. The seatbacks are only ~13" high from the trunkfloor. That thing would loom up above the headrests. Has way to much taper (the seats would need to be fully reclined to match the angle), would weigh around 200lbs + subs, is horribly impractical, etc, etc, etc.

The fact that someone had this idea is kinda scary.

My bad for offering. Yes it's a huge box, The design was just to show scale to whoever said something about the 12 inch holes. Yes it goes from floor to ceiling. Yes it is with the seats leaned back. Yes it would be extremely heavy, not building them for race cars. Didn't draw the box internals such as partitions, bracing. Do the math on the volume, ~9 cu. ft. before any sub/wiring/bracing displacement. I would never put 12s in this thing, just a more common setup. And just why would you not trust me to make woofer boxes? It's simple, this offer was more to people that don't have the time/equipment. Me being 17 makes me inadequate? I remember now why I stopped posting here.

No, it's a bad design for the application.

seems like you were trying to make money....

it may be basic but its a horribly designed box, would fit horrible and would be way to big.
