Default Installed Eclipse 2454, but that darn Scion flip door...

Is getting in the way of a flush shut. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get it to flush shut? I dont really want to take the door off, because I like the idea of having my expensive HU hidden. Also, there is a small gap around each side of the HU. What can I do to plug this gap to make the install look more clean and mean?

Yes, I am in the process of making a write up, you will need to drill holes in the mounting bracket to get it to sit back a little further, and for the small gap you just need to get a mounting kit for the tC, and that will fix that.

use the search button to find more detailed answers, but basically you need to drill new holes 1/4" further back to clear the door.

you can goto circuit city, or best buy, or even crutchfield

in any case you will have to modify it with a dremel, unless someone else knows of one that you dont have to modify for double-din

yeah, all you really need is the bezel, but there is still the issue of modifying the radio mounting brackets.
