Cool Installed Pioneer FH-X700BT but with Issues

Hey guys

New here. Got my Scion tC a couple days ago and I'm liking it a lot so far. However I've run into an issue when installing my after market Pioneer deck head. The **** was too big for the spring door of the entertainment center to close.

As a result, I had to just remove the door altogether, but still kept the parts. But to the more seasoned people out there...is there a way around this? And, if not, is there a dash kit I can buy for the top portion of the stereo?

You can't really SEE anything at the top, but aesthetically...it'd make me feel a lot better.

I thought about taking my door off because it looks better open than closed. Just my opinion

You could sink the unit father into the dash but you'd have a gap at the trim bezel. You could drill a hole in the door to accommodate the **** but that might look weird.
