Default Installed Steering Wheel Controls and now no Speedometer

I installed the PAC steering wheel control adapter with my Alpine HU yesterday and now the steering wheel controls work, but I have no speedometer and my Brake, ABS and tire pressure lights are on on my 2007 TC.

I am just wondering if there is a fuse or common ground for all of these that may have blow or gotten disturbed while I installed this stuff. The ground I used was on the left side of the dash opening just behind the guage cluster. There was an existing brown wire here attached by a bolt.

Thanks for any help, I would much rather not try to troubleshoot the problem if someone know from experience a specific fuse that would cause this behavior.

did you disconnect the battery before install........is not you probably blew the fuse for them........cars grounds are sensitive to change and like to blow fuses

Sounds likely. Stupidly, no, I did not disconnect the battery. I will check the fuse for the guages first and if not that one I will check them all to see if I find the culprit.

Turns out it was something even stupider than a blown fuse. In order to install the adapter I used an add-a-circuit device and the first fuse I pulled, which happened to be a costant 12v instead of switched, I put back into the wrong space. Instead I put it into an unused space on the fuse block. Needless to say the problem is now fixed.
