interior LED
the led's are a switch, the cathodes are a switch, my engine bay lighting is a switch, my underbody is a switch, my fogs are a switch, and my whelens are 2 switches (on/off and pattern switch). everything can be turned on/off at will.
smilezdc- dont forget the exterior lighting!

spectre, the cathode kits are easy to install, just a little time consuming to get it to look clean. you're going to have to run a wire from the battery to a fuse and then into the cabin via one of the many grommets to obtain power. you could also get one of those fuse tap things from the company littelfuse called add-a-circuit instead.

Tell me if I got this right. I want a 12in. cathode kit from ozonium, and want to run it through the oem scion rocker switch.
I plan to use add-a-circuit.
Is this how it runs.
I put the add-a-fuse into one of the spots in the inside fuse box, I run that wire to the rocker switch. Then hook the transformer to the rocker switch and walla.
If im wrong please explain, im not good at electrical work.
Now if I wanted to add an other kit 12 or 4 in. Could I run it from the same add-a-fuse and rocker switch.
Thanks guys.
Lets see the second one is the one i need for the inside fuses right.

looks good...
please know that the wires from the "out" part of the rocker switch to the transformer can be as long as you want them to be. on the other hand, the wires hanging off the cathode itself cannot be extended. knowing this youre gong to have to run wire from the out spade of the switch to wherever you want the cathode to be and mount your transformer there.
if you wanted to run more, it's nothing more than a splice away.

I thought our car had access to fuses inside the car, but I cant find any. Basically I just dont care to have to run a wire through the engine bay and firewall. Thats just me being lazy I guess. Thanks neo you are a lighting master.
007........ as requested i'll help your question.
Most people switch the ground on and off.
So you run the Add-A-Circuit (or whatever fuse tap) directly to the positive side of the transformer or LED leads. Then run the negative of the transformer to the switch - and then the other side of the switch run to a ground - such as one of the bolts sticking out of the firewall (check under the foot rest), sand/scratch the paint off that bolt to get a good contact and wrap the wire real good around or use a fancy connectory.
Factory kids are just like this - in that the lights have to be switched on. Personally - i think its lame to be switched. I bought the 2-way OEM scion switch. So the middle is off- one side turns it on (with or without ignition), and the other way (which its always on for me) turns it on when the door opens/dome light goes on....
Check my other posts for how to do the last.... (in summary - you wire the ground to the switch that is on your door frame that detects the door is open... when it is open it makes connection to ground.)

so... you have the choice of turning on with doors.. turning on manually.. and turning off..?
tap into two sources... one of them being with the door power the other.. wherever..
of just tap into the dome light power sources themselves and have it work in parallel?
