IonFeel Air Purifier
Any thoughts on these air purifier gadgets?

Do these things last forever or something since there is no filter? How long do they last for and do they work? (if anybody happens to know...)

yeah, i had that ionicbreeze ($40 from Sharper Image) in my xB for some time before i did something stupid a few months ago...anyway, it does work, smell was non-existent, people would say my '05 still had that 'new car smell'.
Awesome, glad to know it works. I may pay $30 if I were a smoker or something and needed it badly, but the $20 I was looking at seems like enough for me not to get it. I don't think its worth the pricetag - especially not the one from sharper image for $30. Unless of course it works significantly better
From a news page about 8 months ago:
The problem is, every time you open your door, your window, your sunroof, you fill the car with new air. That little filter has to clean it all over again, and that's assuming you have your HVAC on recirculate or off.
Don't think it's worth it for a car, but that's me.
Sundays New York Times magazine asks that question. Case in point: Sharper Images Ionic Breeze. Back in 2003, Consumer Reports evaluated air cleaning products. Ionic Breeze received the lowest grade and was declared "ineffective." So Sharper Image sued Consumer Reports for defamation. A year later a California judge dismissed the suit and Sharper Image paid Consumer Reports legal costs. In subsequent reports, Consumer Reports continued to blast the Ionic Breeze. The magazine suggested that if you own one, you should take it back for a refund. So why do people keep buying this tainted product? Why does the Ionic Breeze remain one of Sharper Images best selling products? Endless TV ads and infomercials and a confusion among customers over who is telling the truth, Sharper Image or Consumer Reports, says Rob Walker.

The best things I've done with my interior in regards to air/smells is putting in the Filtrete cabin filters and using this new orange spray I got at OSH.
It's 100% (so they say, and it smells it) natural orange oil and it's not "oily" and smells awesome.
They have grapefruit too - I will post the info if anyone is interested.
Non-aerosol, so Al Gore fans can be happy
