iPod Touch 3rd Generation will not charge on '09 TC
I already know why it does not charge. I hate apple so ____ing much, what a bunch of _______ removing something so a lot of accessories that people use no longer work. I gave away my classic to my brother as a gift, I would have thought longer after finding this out.
I was given the suggestion of using a converter so that the TC might charge the iPod Touch. Anyone have any experience with these and whether they work with the Ipod Touch?

It's called the "Griffin Charge Converter", and its about 19 bucks. It's designed to work with iphones and newer ipods. I have the same issue with my touch not charging, and then I came across this. I just got it in the mail yesterday and tried it this morning on the way to work and its great. I have a 2008 premium stereo and the newest touch. So should work for you too. Search on amazon.

not really.
it's because Firewire is pretty much dead and obsolete.. however Apple forgot that most aftermarket accessories used the firewire pins to charge..
that's their stupidity really... and going on to say hey.. blah blah.. it's the aftermarket companys' fault... dunno. but it certinaly DOES NOT benefit Apple having aftermarket companies selling more accessories..
whatever.
i stopped caring.
