i got an '06 tc without the ipod ready gear. im just trying to run it off of the AUX jack in the center armrest. ive tried many different methods people told me: turn the ipod all the way up, push the disc button twice and even went to the dealer (who was totally stumped). can anyone help me out here? ive been goin on too long tryna survive off of cd's -____- im ready for the new age hahah

when you push the aux button does the screen display change to aux?

if not your zux cable may not be plugged into the radio

 

there isnt an aux button on the HU

You should have a source button to change between CD, Tuner/Radio and Auxiliary. Push that to cycle through your input sources and once AUX comes up, you should get audio in from your ipod, assuming it is connected. If you don't have any input from the AUX input source or don't have that option, tell the dealer that you have the wrong radio in your car because it should be able to switch to it. Can you take a picture of your HU

 

hmm, there isnt any kind of toggle button. theres only disc, am, fm, and SAT. i can post a picture in maybe in hour and a half after i get outta school hah
