Default Just a couple questions.

Alright I'm pretty new to the Scion world. I got my 08 tc a week ago. I've been browsing the forums looking for things I could do to it. I have a 15 in sub with an amp, my question is do I need to get a different HU to install it? And also will the iPod connection in the armrest still work if I get a different HU? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

No. A simple Line Out Converter (LOC) that converts the speaker level signals to "line level" (RCA) is the most popular option. There are several amplifiers out there that already high/speaker level inputs - negating the need for a LOC.

I'm sure you could re-wire it to the new H/U - but that's pretty advanced modifications. There are some H/Us out there that will perform better with the iPod and have much better sound quality/features. Alpine, Pioneer, Eclipse all integrate well, and have a ton of features...
