your open/close is screwed up. take the postiive off the battery for a few minutes, put it back on.

go inside + hold the driver side button down all the way until the window rolls down and keep holding down for 5 seconds thereafter. now do the same thing except holding it up. now jump over to the passenger side and repeat.

that should clear it up.

you might have put the sound deadner in the way of the window. What kind of sound deadner did you use and how thick did you put it on?

In my last car the installer did a crap job on my crossovers and they blocked the window track so it'd only go down 1/3 of the way, make sure nothing is blocking it.

When I deadened my doors, I had to keep checking to make sure I wasn't blocking the windows.

just about 2 layers same as passenger doors........crossovers mounted on inner skin right up against panels.......tomorrow ill take the speaker out to see if the aluminum maybe got pushed back when laying the raamat over it to see if that is what is blocking the window......if that aint it, i dunno what to do.........i already tried disconnecting the positive and re-setting the windows before posting. im gonna troubleshoot some more tomoorw .....i just hope i can find the problem. thanks for the replies people.

first.... check that you're speakers aren't hitting the window behind the door pannel.

there has been a case where we did a full system in some dudes car and he had to reset his windows cause they wouldnt roll down anymore. he had an 05 tc. but if you look in the car mannual it tells you how to reset the windows

thanks for the replies everybody........figured it out today. When my buddy was screwing the aluminum into the outer skin he screwed one of the screws right in between the windows motor arm thing. and soon as i would hit the down on the windows it wouldent move because the screw was right in between the arm thing. took the screw out and voila.

just goes to show if you want something done right i guess you gotta do it yourself.
