Angry Keeping my 11Kv.2 downfiring sub in place

I have downfiring 11Kv.2 enclosure (from elemental designs, http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_...roducts_id=412) in my TC and am very happy with it, but I'm having a serious issue with it. It moves around. Usually, after the first good acceleration or after a few bumps on the road, it ends up against the back hatch vibrating all to hell against it - which results in me turning down the stereo so that I can actually hear the music until my next stop when I can push back against the seats.

Any suggestions?! I want to keep it in place in a way that doesn't look ridiculous - and still keep the flaps on the side of the mat functional (i.e, not screwing it to the floor).

Please help! It's extremely frustrating.

a bungee cord won't look great... try self adhesive Velcro?

how often do you just chill with your hatch open? If you go to a show just take it off. velcro might work too

when I was president of a local car club... the hatch would be open all the time... but even if it wasn't left open while hangin' out, the bungee cord looks kinda ghetto (a black bungee cord would be less noticeable, but still tacky)

no pun intended, but stick with the heavy duty velcro...

What about using velcro? That's what I used to secure mine from falling out out place!

some kind of bracket like what cburglb said.

it'll hopefully keep it off your back in a crash too.

if you drive with the seats down that is.

That's what I use... got me some of these:

Just put them on the bottom of my speaker box and they stick to the floor of the trunk. Box doesn't move anymore.
