I have an aftermarket alarm on my 05 tc I think it’s called avital. Right now the only key I have is the valet key without the buttons. I would like to know that if I buy a new key from Amazon can I program the buttons to work with the alarm instead of the car? Or if I just program it to the car will it activate the alarm? Thank in advance.

 

You can buy a programmable key from Amazon; I've done it before too as well and there is a tutorial I followed on Youtube. It's really easy and requires no tools
