led dome light help please

Default led dome light help please

well i tried swapping out my dome lights with some leds. anyways i took out the stock light and it went up in that little hole so now its stuck there. being im so stupid i tried the other bulb and that one also got stuck. how can i get it out? please any body thanks..

Sadly, you're not alone. I can't seem to get the bulbs out from up there...although I haven't gotten another stuck yet...I assume we're missing something blatantly obvious...

i did it too, don't feel bad, you can fix it, it just takes patience, some scraped up fingers, a small stick or something like that, and some needle nose pliers... what you did wrong was twist it... the arrows are misleading... anyways I twisted it and the housing part went up into the little houseing... your job is to pull it back down and twist it like it originally was... it took me about 20 minutes to do

yeah I just realised if you twist you move the whole socket. We just need to pull the bulbs straight out and down without removing the socket...ha

Default For other suckers that twist these out.

Like another poster said just use some force and pop out the whole assembly. The twist the socket back into place. It pops right back in. Did this with 2008 tC.
