Ok you can wire them to that little light in the cubby hole (the little pocket in front of the shifter),
You can get to it by removing the waterfall and then the radio. I did this for a while without any problems. I cut that light off and used the two wires as the positive and the negative.
This will work without problems if you are only using leds and not too many of them maybee a total of 1 or 2 amps of current, I recently rewired because i added more lights and did not feel comfortable using this as the power source. I now use a relay with the cubby hole light wire as a trigger and the power wire run from straight the battery with a fuse of course.
