Yes it will. A neat trick I realized when figuring mine out. Lol.

Are you against my original way? I always have mine on with the doors so anytime I unlock the car or open the door my interior LEDs light up. They dim and shut off with the dome lights when I close the doors. If I want to turn them on again once the doors are closed, I flick my switch to the other "On" option and they go on. Simple. I can turn them off anytime I want so they never go off (altough I rarely do it). Correct me if I'm wrong, but what are you trying to achieve that's different than mine?

No you explained it fine - I was being hard-headed to doing it my way.

Power -> Lights
Door Ground -> Bottom of the On-Off-On Switch 1
Door Ground -> Bottom of the On-Off-On Switch 2
Ground -> Top of On-Off-On Switch 1
Ground -> Top of On-Off-On Switch 2
Middle of Switch 1 -> Light 1
Middle of Switch 2 -> Light 2

Haha fair enough.

And yes, you got it. Another thing, the side you flick the switch will turn on the opposite lead wire. It only matters when you are mounting the switch. In your example, if you want the switch to be set to doors you would press the button up. Then to turn the light on when the doors are closed, you would flick the switch down. Does that make sense? If you want switch opertion to be the opposite way, just mount the switch the other way. This took me a while to figure out originally, lol.

Thanks for the tip! I will keep that in mind when I wire it up. I am going to do the wiring this weekend, keeping in mind the new switches that should be here next week. I will just wire to the switches I have and not connect the door ground until the new ones come in next week - but have the wires all up in there.

Nice, sounds good. If you have any questions when wiring it up this weekend, hit me up via PM. It'll notify me on my blackberry so I can respond quickly. Good luck!

Thanks. It's just a matter of pulling the right wire for the door ground (the blue one in the upper left loom). It looks like there's only 1 blue wire in that place so I should be OK.

Yeah, the blue wire is very easy to find using that picture you posted. You'll be fine. :D

The blue wire is already tapped in the pic, and the thing you see is the blue line tap. The wire is easy to get to. Pull off the plastic cover to access this area and you will see a bundle of wires of which one of them is the blue one to tap into. You'll probably have to pull back some of the black electrical tape surrounding the wire bundle to get enough room to use the line tap. It's there though, and not hard to find.

Oh, its right under the mirror controls on the left side of the steering wheel. Run your hand down the panel and there will be a small indent. Grab it hard and pull down away from the panel. You will have a plastic piece left in your hand and an open access to this area. If I had a pic I'd post it, but I don't. Next time you get in the car look for it, its right there.
