Default Looking for a new (used) Driver's seat.

Hello all - my girlfriend has been experiencing back and circulation problems when driving her 06 TC, turns out the driver seat bench is completely starting to separate from the base & back seat...causing a funky angle when you sit in it. Basically "pinching" you at the hips.

I witnessed it myself while driving her car sitting in traffic for over 1 hour, it's quite uncomfortable.

ANYWAYS, I'm looking for a used driver side seat, in Nor Cal area. I'm hoping there is someone here that is breaking a parts car and/or has a spare driver seat they might want to get rid of.

I'll check the classified section here on SL also but wanted to reach out in the Interior section as well.

I tried to post in Wanted section in Classifieds but was not able to. Is there an approval system or minimum post requirement here? TIA.

Nevermind. I removed the seat and fixed it.

The bottom bench is mounted on a wire frame with a "hook" .
That hooked end is supposed to mount on the metal rod at the seat's pivot point. It was un-hooked.

WOW that's amazing considering we have taken it to Toyota Service before and asked them about that and they could not fix it.

5 minutes of my time and a 14mm socket solved that...

Thanks all!

i think the wire frame is that spring suspension mesh that holds the bottom foam onto the frame of the seat.

yeah it's funny how others always miss the obvious! glad you got it fixed and the price of FREE is awesome! good job!
