I'm all over it, I should be getting started on it in the next few weeks.. I'll make sure to take pics of the whole installation process.

question: where do you guys think would be the best place to put the mini.. i was thinking in the center console and run all the wires underneath.

Is there any front end available for the mac platform.... I wouldn't want to touch screen OSX alone... it'd be a pain to say the least...

It should fit back behind the console area, you just have to get remote turn on and power supply going.

Well, I suppose someone should ask what you're planning on doing with it?
BTW, PM me - I can get you a discount on the Mini - but if you're a student, you get a good one anyway.

Nice, but what do you do when you get a virus? I'd hate for some kid in Belgium to put a worm in there and shut your engine down

Yeah there is, just use Front Row with a touch screen.. I have a Treo 650, so i can pair the two and use a little app on the treo called Salling Clicker to control the Mac.

Well to start i'm just gonna use it for music, movies, internet.. i'm sure in time someone will develop a way to hook it up with the cars computer.

Haha thats why you use a Mac.. you don't really have to worry about that kinda thing.

I understand that - I'm all Mac, and have been since 1985!
